What I wish for you in 2016

I like to think of the new year as a new beginning, a new chapter, a new opportunity, an exciting door that you now get to open, a new world to walk into... if you choose to see it in front of you.

While, of course, you at your core are still YOU, the new year brings with it a certain kind of energy and magic that if you use it right has the power to transform you, lift you above the things that haven't worked, and illuminate a new path. 

Never underestimate the power you carry within you to change the way you see yourself and thus transform your life. 

You are the center of this power.

With this in mind, here is what I wish for you as we embark on this new year, 2016:
 

I wish you kind eyes that can look at your reflection and see you in all your beauty.

I wish you a curious mind that encounters life with the playfulness and ease of a child.

I wish you a strong voice that expresses thoughts, ideas and emotions courageously.

I wish you an open heart that takes in the world and loves fiercely.

I wish you the kind of cheeks that smile easily and laugh roaringly.

I wish you the kind of toes that dance through life with gentle ease. 

I wish you strong arms that take those who deserve it in close and keep those who don't at a healthy distance. 

I wish you the presence and radiance that lights up a room and effortlessly draws in your kind of people. 

I wish you happiness and joy and an a ravenous appetite for life itself. 

I wish you love for others, for animals, for nature, for work, for play, and for yourself.

I wish you purpose.

I wish you fulfillment.
